Elisa Krijgsman – Guitar

At the conservatory of Hilversum, Elisa was a pupil of the legendary Wim Overgaauw, but also of Peter Tiehuis and Maarten van de Grinten. He listened a lot to guitarplayers such as George Benson, Lee Ritenour, Robben Ford and – his all time favourite – Larry Carlton. Especially Larry shaped the way of Elisa’s playing. Elisa became a well respected recording artist as a guitarplayer. He played on numbers of records, especially for the Dutch Christian music. Also he is a substitute guitarist in the well-known Metropole Orchestra, now conducted by Vince Mendoza. Elisa was also guitarplayer of American prog-artist Neal Morse, former-leadsinger and frontman of the band Spocks Beard and Transatlantic. Elisa was involved in 2006 and 2008 while touring through Europe. He performed on two live albums of Neal Morse: “Question Mark LIVE” and “So many roads – LIVE”.
